General Questions

What we buy, who we serve, and what to bring

We buy virtually all ferrous and non-ferrous metals including copper (bare bright, #1, #2, insulated wire), aluminum (extrusion, cast, sheet, cans), steel (structural, HMS, demolition, rebar), brass (yellow, red), stainless steel (304, 316), electric motors, transformers, and wire. If you're not sure whether we buy it, call or text us a photo at (602) 600-6291 — we'll let you know quickly.
Arizona law requires a valid government-issued photo ID (driver's license, state ID, passport, or military ID) for all scrap metal transactions. We record your information for regulatory compliance. First-time sellers can be set up on the spot — just bring your ID and your material.
No minimum. We accept everything from a bucket of copper wire to full truckloads of steel. However, for very small quantities of low-value material (e.g., a few pounds of light steel), it may not be worth the trip. Call us if you're unsure.
Arizona has strict laws regarding catalytic converter sales. We follow all state regulations. Please call us at (602) 600-6291 to discuss documentation requirements before bringing catalytic converters to the yard.
Yes. We buy all types of insulated copper and aluminum wire — ROMEX, THHN, communication wire, extension cords, and more. Heavier gauge wire with higher copper content pays more. Wire that's already been stripped (bare bright copper) gets the best price. Bring it in or text a photo for a quick estimate.
No — we buy metal only. Computers, monitors, TVs, and batteries require a certified e-waste recycler. However, we do accept metal components separated from electronics: copper wire, aluminum chassis, steel frames, and circuit board scrap. If you have bulk quantities of stripped electronic components, give us a call to discuss.
Separate your metals by type before you come in. Mixed loads are still accepted, but clean, sorted material consistently earns better prices. For copper — strip wire to bare bright if possible. For aluminum — remove steel attachments. For steel — keep heavy melt separate from light iron. Call or text a photo first and we'll advise on the best way to prepare your load.

Pricing & Payment

How prices are set, how fast you get paid, and what to expect

Our prices are based on current commodity markets (COMEX for non-ferrous, regional mill pricing for steel) adjusted for grade, quantity, and condition. Prices change daily. Call for an exact quote on your specific material — final price is always determined after inspection and grading at our facility. We never change the price after you've already unloaded.
Walk-in sellers are paid same day, immediately after weighing and grading. You choose your payment method: ACH (direct deposit) or check. Commercial accounts with established terms are invoiced per agreement. We've operated this way for over 50 years — same-day payment is standard, not an exception.
We price transparently. Common adjustments include: tare weight (weight of your container or vehicle), moisture or debris deductions for contaminated loads, and grade adjustments if material differs from what was quoted. We always explain any adjustments before completing the transaction. No hidden fees, no surprises.
Yes. We offer NET payment terms for established commercial accounts with regular volume. Contact us to discuss setting up a business account with terms that work for your operation.
Yes — call us at (602) 600-6291 or text a photo of your material to the same number. We can give you a ballpark based on current pricing and the material you describe. Final price is set after inspection and weighing. For large loads, we recommend calling ahead so there are no surprises.

Yard & Logistics

Hours, location, scale process, and what to expect when you arrive

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Arizona time (MST, no daylight savings). Saturday by appointment only. Closed Sunday and major holidays. Last weigh-in is 15 minutes before closing.
1. Drive onto our certified scale (stay in your vehicle). 2. We record your gross weight. 3. Unload your material in the designated area. 4. Drive back onto the scale for tare weight. 5. The difference is your net scrap weight. 6. We grade your material and calculate payment. 7. You receive a scale ticket and your payment. The entire process typically takes 15–30 minutes depending on load size.
Closed-toe shoes are required. We recommend long pants, work gloves, and a high-vis vest if you'll be outside your vehicle. Hard hats are recommended in processing areas. Always bring your government-issued photo ID for the transaction — we can't process a sale without it.
